We collect in surf stores and through friends.

• A number of stores work with us, they accept boards and equipment. You can always visit a store during opening hours.
• Our friends and the Provide the Silde team organize private collection points, especially in areas with no stores nearby. Here you have to set a date with us in advance for the handover.

Repair

• We inspect all boards and repair damages that will reduce the life span of the board.
• All boards will be registered and get our Provide the Silde logo sprayed on them.

Complete Board Packages

• We try to send only complete board packages as much as possible. That means every board comes with fins, a leash and at best a board-bag and also wax to its new owner.
• Without fins and leash you can't surf very well, a bag increases the life span enormously. That's why it's so important that you donate bags, single fins and everything else don’t need yourself for surfing.

Sale and Exchange for Eccessories

• So far we received more bare boards than fin sets, bags and leashes. To get complete sets we exchange or sell selected boards. We sell about 10% of the boards and always make sure that we get a good deal.
• We do need cash for shipping: customs fees, containerspace, and transportationto the destination (e.g. by truck).

In addition to donating a board, you can also support Provide the Slide by covering costs around our main activities :

Complete a donated boards with fin(s) and leash and make it ready to surf after it arrive
2. Shipping costs for one board | 50 Euro
Bring one board from Europe to the partner-community in Africa
3. Repair workshop  | 100 Euro
Cover the costs of one day of surfboard-repair workshop at our partner communities.

Provide the Slide is officially recognized as a non-profit organization in Switzerland and Germany and issues donation receipts.The most easy way to make a donation is our donation-form supported by betterplace.org.

Accessories Donation

We only send "complete" board sets with fins, a leash and at best a bag. Fins, leashes and bags are always missing. Also wax, fin keys and screws are often missing. Even a single fin helps, because we can make complete new sets from leftover equipment.
